Mikao Usui, Reiki founder (1865–1926)

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing.  The practitioner receives the energy through the crown chakra, and the energy flows out of the hands. When I practice Reiki, my hands get very warm. Reiki can provide relaxation, detoxification, and/or healing.  For additional information about Reiki, please visit  The International Center for Reiki Training’s website.

I can provide Reiki remotely or in-person.  I charge $30.00 for a half hour, or $60.00 for an hour.

Usui Reiki Level I

The class will initially define Reiki and discuss its history. In Level I, students will focus on healing themselves. Students will also receive the first degree Reiki attunement. Manual is included.

Usui Reiki Level II

Continuation of Reiki I. In this class, we will introduce three symbols to amplify and focus your Reiki. You will also learn techniques to practice on others. By the end of the day, you will be certified in Usui Reiki Level II.

Advanced Reiki Training

In the class, you will receive the following:

• The Advanced Practitioner attunement and a new symbol which raises the vibrational frequency of the Reiki energy.
• The Usui Master Practitioner symbol, which increases the effectiveness of the other symbols and strengthens intuitive awareness of Divine guidance.
• Use of crystals and Reiki.
• Study deep level healing and energy clearing (psychic surgery). Practice!
• The Reiki III Usui Master Teacher attunement and training.

Reiki Master Class

In this class, you will receive the Reiki Master attunement, which includes two new Tibetan symbols.  You will also receive instruction and practice giving and receiving attunements for all levels.  Discern the subtle energies connected with the Reiki symbols, through a guided meditation that can help to strengthen the mind and expand consciousness.
